Barn Cats

Along with the lifesaving work Spay and Stay does to help outdoor cats live a healthy life, Spay and Stay also helps to move fixed and vaccinated Lake County feral cats to safe, outdoor homes when possible.

Outdoor homes consist of barns, stables or out buildings with adequate room and shelter. These barn cats do not interact as companion animals, but they will keep the rodents out of grain, leather or hay very nicely. They can thrive and live long lives in these settings with minimal care. For more information on how to introduce and care for a barn cat go to ShelterMeInc.org.
